Strudels live alongside humans, and therefore are completely immersed in the food culture of whatever region they live in! For example, a majority of french strudels would have traditional foods such as croissants, chocolates, cheeses, etc, as their offerings. These strudels will also speak French, and pick up on the mannerisms of the humans they so lovingly work beside. Strudels learn these languages from books and listening in on conversation. However, living in the veil, it's not always clear what humans are saying. Therefore, it's not uncommon for strudels to have their own version of human words.
Strudels do not have traditional education systems such as ourselves. Information is often passed down through stories from the elders, including what's safe to eat, ethics of living alongside humans, etc. If a strudel displays a special interest in a certain topic, they may choose to go out and research it themselves firsthand. It's not uncommon for strudels to seek the guidance of other species as well to satisfy their curiosities. Strudels particularly interested in plant life may choose to study alongside arborlings. Those interested in human culture and objects may choose to befriend the local thimblets.
There are all sorts of jobs, depending on the needs of their society. From florists to seamstresses, if there's demand, there's a job. In large cities, some strudels may set up their own storefronts. However, in smaller towns, strudels mostly work out of their homes and rely on word-of-mouth.
Some job markets may be dominated by other species of fae. Thimblets are most well-known for their plush making and prowess in fabric.

Offerings are considered a "coming of age" point in a strudel's life. The nature of their offering depends entirely on their family dynamic. Some families may be steeped in tradition, and decide only to take pie offerings for example. Or some families may encourage their young ones to find something that calls to them in particular. Generally, the young strudel must go out and find this offering on their own. Though multiple strudels may team up and go search for their first offerings together.
Strudels do not commonly celebrate birthdays! Instead, they celebrate the day of their offerings. On May 27th of every year, a massive festival is hosted to celebrate all of the youngsters who received their offerings that year!

Strudels often pair up and build families. Their eggs are formed out of mutual love and magic.
